Hmm, I think I like it. I’m curious about some products (Eye Aquarelle Duo Chalks, Cream To Powder Blush & Soft Touch Nail Lacquer), but this isn’t a collection that make me goes: “WOW! ” The colors are a little bit cool, in my opinion and I also don’t really like the packaging, I think it doesn’t fit the theme very well..

Just a quick post to let my Dutch readers know that Inglot opened their webshop! Isn’t that totally awesome? They even sell the Zuca PRO Artist Case *dreams on* And they also sell products/colors that aren’t sold in ‘normal’ Dutch counters/stores. That’s awesome!

One drawback: if you want to use & buy the Inglot Freedom System, you have to pay the palette separately.. So it might be cheaper if you buy this in store, because you’ll get the palette for free!

Overall:
Again, as with a lot of Catrice’s Limited Editions, I’m in love! These colors are so warm, soft & beautiful and they really suit me. I really like the packaging as well, especially those lipglosses! I can’t wait to try out these products, I think this will become a popular Limited Edition. What I don’t really understand though, is that some of the products are also being added to Catrice’s standard collection, which makes the term ‘Limited Edition’ a little misleading perhaps.. Oh well, I like the collection anyways!

It’s been such a long time since I did a FOTD! So, to make it up to you, here is one of my favorite looks I ever wore.

This look is very special to me, because I also wore it 2 years ago when I was so blessed and lucky to get the chance to freelance for MAC, for one day. I had so much fun that day, a dream came true! The MUA’s gave me so much inspiration and they were so enthusiastic about me, which made me feel so humble.. And here I am two years later: looking for a job, but determined to work for MAC once again.. Sooner or later!

This look is inspired by the wonderful JulieG713
and I used almost all the same products which she used. The day before I got to work for MAC, I was on the phone with one of the MUA’s (she explained me how I should dress/do my makeup etc.) and she told me that I should go all out with my makeup. She wanted to see bright eyes and bright lips, so that’s exactly what I did The MUA’s loved this look and they were very surprised about my talent (their words of course :-$).

January 13th: Catrice announced today that they changed the shape of the Ultimate Shine & Ultimate Colour lipsticks. In stead of those awkward curled top, they will be ‘cut off’ straight now. Great news, because the old shape was kind of a hassle to work with!

Unfortunately, I don’t know the actual names of the new products, but once they will be released, I’ll update this post. Edit Jan. 06: I added the names of the new nail polishes!

This new Catrice collection will appear in Kruidvat & Trekpleister stores (The Netherlands) from February 2012.
